Funny Money for High Schools is an engaging presentation designed to both educate and entertain students in grades 11 and 12. The program is helping students learn the basics of personal finances before they enter into the world of higher education, careers and independence.

An alarmingly large number of today's students find themselves unprepared for the day to day realities of paying the rent, properly using a credit card, budgeting for the basic necessities or investing for their futures. This award-winning 50 minute presentation, delivered by professional comedians, takes all of the confusion out of the complex world of finances to make sure that students are on the right track.

Using comedy, a multimedia presentation and audience participation, the Funny Money for High Schools Assembly Program is teaching students across Canada the essential skills required to successfully manage their financial lives. Since the Investor Education Fund first began sponsorship of the program in 2005 in partnership with the Cambridge Chamber of Commerce, Funny Money has successfully reached over 280,000 students in over 600 presentations. With the added support of the Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada (IIROC), the program is now available nationally.

Bringing the Funny Money for High Schools Assembly Program to your high school will raise your senior students’ awareness of personal financial management and offer valuable support for them now and into their futures. Not only is it a great investment in students’ futures but the show is provided on a complimentary basis to Canadian high schools.
